    Patented KDF Process Media are 100% recyclable and contain no chemical additives. KDF-85 Medium is classified as a "pesticidal device" by the US Environmental Protection Agency so no pesticidal registration is required. KDF-85 Media also meets EPA and Food and Drug Administration standards for maximum limits of zinc and copper in potable water.
