    DI resins are used for applications where high water purity is desired. Incorporated as a post Reverse Osmosis filter, 99.99% pure water is achievable. We use the media in our saltwater/reef aquarium reverse osmosis systems and found the water quality, after filtration, to approach 18 MOhm-cm, the highest water purity achievable without distillation. The ion exchange resin is well suited for the water quality requirements of saltwater and reef aquarium enthusiasts, or anyone desiring ultrapure water.


    A 50/50 volume mixture of a hydrogen form strong acid cation resin (amber) and an hydroxide form type 1 strong base anion resin(green colored), utilizing a pH indicator dye attached to the anion component that changes color from emerald green to amber as the resin exhausts. This resin is intended for use in applications where a color indication of resin exhaustion is desired and is supplied ready to use with the cation component in the hydrogen form and the anion component in the hydroxide form.
